We, the undersigned, express our wholehearted support for the revival of Newcomb's Ranch.
Newcomb's Ranch was a treasured retreat for generations of Angelinos traveling the Angeles Crest Highway; the best way to survey the spectacular San Gabriel Mountains. The Ranch was the ideal stopover, offering comfort food and the chance to savor the natural wonders known to travelers of days gone by.
The plan to revive the Ranch embraces its past and ensures it will have a future. This cherished roadhouse deserves to thrive once again and become a welcoming space for visitors to gather and reconnect with nature.
Given the challenges that a business must face in this remote location, we would like to let the LA County agencies know of our enthusiasm for this proposal and ask that they too support the return of Newcomb’s Ranch to the Angeles Crest Highway.
If you have any doubt about the future of Newcomb’s Ranch, we urge you to look at the ruins of the Hidden Springs Café, located just 20 miles away.
You know what will happen to Newcomb’s Ranch if you don’t act.
We have already lost the Hidden Springs Café to demolition. We owe it to ourselves and enthusiasts to continue the heritage and history of Newcomb’s Ranch.
It survived floods, fires, landslides and earthquakes but bureaucracy may be the death of it. Yet, Newcomb’s Ranch could be even better than before. If this cherished spot has a place in your heart, speak up!
Please help rescue Newcomb's Ranch.
